18 new entries in OPCOM market places during March 2021, DELGAZ GRID (CM-OTC), KOMPACT GRID (DAM, CMBC-CN), SKYBASE ENERGY (CMBC-EA-flex), SUN WAVE ENERGY (CME-RES-GC), ENEL TRADE ENERGY (DAM), E.K.W. Energy (GCM), HYDRO-WIND POWER (GCM), ELECTROGRUP ENERGY (GCM), GREEN ENERGY GRUP (GCM), VAROKUB ENERGY DEVELOPMENT (CMBC-CN), EN POWER NETHERLANDS (DAM, IDM), CAMPO VERDE ENERGY (CME-RES-GC), CAMPO VERDE SOLARIS (CME-RES-GC), FREEPOINT COMMODITIES EUROPE (CMBC-EA-flex), WE POWER TEAM (DAM, CM-OTC), QMB ENERG (CME-RES-GC), EWIND (GCM) and ENERGY TECH ENTERA (GCM).

At the end of March, 365 participants were registered in the spot market, 161 were enrolled in the Intraday Market, 170 companies were listed in the Trading registry of Centralized Market for Electricity Bilateral Contracts Extended Auction – flex mechanism, 189 companies were listed in the Trading registry of Centralized Market for Electricity Bilateral Contracts Continuous Negotiation mechanism, 85 companies were listed as registered participants in the Centralized Market with double continuous negotiation for Electricity Bilateral Contracts (CM-OTC), 16 participants were registered in Centralized Market for Universal Service, 1 participant was registered in the Electricity Market for Large Consumers (LCM) and 140 participants were registered in the Centralized market for electricity from renewable energy sources supported by Green Certificates.

Green Certificates Market had 930 registered participants at March 31.

At the end of March, 32 companies were listed as registered participants in the Centralized Market for Natural Gas - PCGN-LN mechanism, 26 companies were listed as registered participants in the Centralized Market for Natural Gas - PCGN-LP mechanism, while 21 participants were registered in Centralized Market for Natural Gas - PCGN-OTC mechanism. 28 participants were registered in the Day Ahead Market for Natural Gas (DAM-NG) and 26 participants were enrolled in the Intraday Market for Natural Gas. 1 participant was registered in the Market for Flexible Medium and Long Term Products for Natural Gas (PPF-TL) at March 31.

OPCOM was designated by the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority as Nominated Electricity Market Operator (NEMO) in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 for fulfilling tasks related to the coupling of the day-ahead and intraday markets.

OPCOM applies the Quality Management System complying with ISO 9001 - SR EN ISO 9001, respectively the Information Security Management System complying with ISO/IEC 27001 - SR EN ISO/IEC 27001, both systems being certified by Lloyd`s Register LRQA.
