Record Values for the volumes traded for the delivery day of August 4^th, 2010.

Bucharest, August 4, 2010

The increased interest for trading recorded in July in the spot market continues also in August, registering two absolute records since the launch of the new mechanisms (July 2005) for the deliveries from August 4th, 2010:
• a total volume of 32,760.789 MWh;
• an hourly average of 1,365.033 MWh/h.
These records occur in the context of sustained growth trends of the market share and traded volumes represented by them in the first seven months of this year.
