Market Information May 2007
(Bucharest, June 1st , 2007) In May 2007, the interest for spot market tradings were growing, reaching again the participation record established in January 2007 (55 daily participants).
The electricity OPCOM administrated DAM volume traded this month didn’t significantly grow related the previous year (338,882 MWh, related with 320,616 MWh in the same month of 2006). According to this growth, corroborated with the trend of net consumption, the spot market trading share grew to 8.09% related to 7.74% in May 2006. One can notice a 1% decrease related to trading value in April 2007.
The average trading price was 153.78 lei/MWh (46.73 euro/MWh) in May.
