Absolute records in the Day-Ahead Market

For the delivery day 16th of January 2013 were recorded new trading records in the Day-Ahead Market, values ​​that come to support the subsequent of absolute maximums set in the first days of 2013:

• total traded volume of 47,892.101 MWh;
• average traded volume of 1,995.504 MWh/h;
• maximum hourly traded volume of 2,378.326 MWh/h (in the 12th hourly interval), for more than half of the hourly intervals of this day the volume of the trades exceeding 2,000 MWh/h;
• DAM market share of around 28.5% out of the net domestic consumption forcasted for the country represents the second value recorded since lunch (July 2005).

Until now, January is highlighted by the highest level of participation, the number of the companies that submitted at least one offer being of 101, representing a rate of interest of 73% compared with the 139 companies registered at the market.
