PRESS RELEASE (Bucharest, May 30th, 2013) We took note related to the Press Release issued by the European Commission on 30.05.2013 related to issuing of the Statement of the European body objections in the context of the investigation by which it presents the preliminary opinion. As previously communicated, we are continuing the actions deployed together with the involved entities aiming the creation of the conditions needed for the implementation, as soon possible, of the solution aimed to respond towards the expectations of all market participants, eliminating interpretations of discrimination and also assuring maintaining the efficacy and the efficiency of the current mechanisms. We are assuring all participants in the administered markets as well as all interested parties that the trading process is not affected by this procedure. Finally, we would like to outline that the respective Statement of Objections does not prejudge the final outcome of the investigation. Therefore, OPCOM is confident that this procedural phase of the investigation deployed by the EU antitrust authorities will not affect the performance of the administered markets and its national and regional development plans.
