PRESS RELEASE (Bucharest, June 22, 2015) OPCOM has been pre-registered as RRM Romanian gas and electricity market operator, OPCOM S.A. has been approved as pre-registered reporting mechanisms (RRMs) in the List of RRMs by the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER). The registration as a RRM is a prerequisite for offering data reporting services under the Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (REMIT). Starting with 7 October 2015, all orders submitted to and trades concluded on OPCOM gas and electricity markets will be reported to ACER.
