| Italian power utility Enel is interested in acquiring sixTurkish electricity .Distribution companies due to be privatised before the end of 2005, Enel has said Enel chairman Piero Gnudi is currently in Istanbul and is involved in �talks� with several distributors, an Enel spokeswoman confirmed on Wednesday. The company is interested in both Turkish distribution and generation companies but distribution is being privatised first, Gnudi said on Tuesday. Gnudi is in Turkey with numerous Italian business executives investigating trade and investment opportunities.... |
