    Romanian state-owned power company Nuclearelectrica will invest ROM60m (�14.4m) into the construction of Units 3 and 4 of its nuclear power plant Cernavoda in 2009. The investment will be its first capital subscription to the project, in which it owns 51%, Nuclearelectrica confirmed on Wednesday (8th April). The company declined to disclose its total projected investment saying that the feasibility study and the general budget of the project were still under re-evaluation. The estimated total cost of the project is �4bn. Nuclearelectrica is developing two 720MW units in a consortium, Energo Nuclear, which also includes ArcelorMittal, CEZ, GDF SUEZ, Enel, Iberdrola and RWE Power.
