| Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has received an order for 76 turbines, which will be installed over two sites in Romania. Once installed, the turbines collectively will have a capacity of 228MW. Portuguese utility EDP Renováveis placed both orders, Vestas said. Juan Araluce, president of Vestas Mediterranean said: “In the currently challenging economic and financial scenario, it is very important to receive this sign of confidence in our products and our technology from a leading company like EDP Renováveis.” (THE ICIS HEREN REPORTS - EDEM 13 066 / 03 April 2009) |
