Czech utility CEZ is planning to invest �1.1bn in the ongoing construction of two windfarms in Romania, Fantanele and Cogealac. The two sites will have a combined capacity of 600MW, produced by 240 wind turbines, CEZ said at the announcement of its fourth-quarter results Thursday (13th August). When completed, the windfarms will account for 30% of all electricity generated through renewable sources in Romania, according to company.
