Four new companies were admitted to Romanian power exchange OPCOM last month. RE Power Generation will be active on the day-ahead market and the centralised market for bilateral contracts with continuous negotiation (CMGC). Obedineni Energiini Targovtsi OOD also joined the Day-ahead market, while Grenerg joined the CMGC. Meanwhile, Gazprom Marketing and Trading joined the centralised market for bilateral contracts awarded through public auction (CMBC). At the end of February, there were 101 participants registered on the spot market, while on the forward markets, the CMBC had 103 participants and the CMGC had 68, according to figures released by OPCOM.
