| Power consumption in Romania rose 3.8% in 2010 to 50.5TWh, national statistics institute, INS said on Tuesday (8th February). In 2010, power production rose by 4.2%, to 60.5TWh. Thermal power production fell by 6.6% to 28.0TWh, while power generation from nuclear power dropped by 1.1% to 11.6TWh. Hydropower rose by 28.1% to 20TWh.
