14 new entries in OPCOM market places and in the Centralized Electricity Acquisition Mechanism (CEAM) during January 2025: MOTOR OIL RENEWABLE ENERGY SINGLE MEMBER (DAM, IDM, CMBC-EA-flex), POWER PEAK TRADING (CMBC-EA-flex, CMBC-CN), MONTANA SOLAR ENERGY (DAM, IDM), MONTANA ENERGY ROM (DAM, IDM), SOLAR RENEWABLE (DAM, IDM), INSTITUTUL DE STUDII SI PROIECTARI HIDROENERGETICE ISPH - AGGREGATED ENTITY (DAM, IDM), LUXUS ENERGY (DAM, IDM), TRANSLIBERTA IMPEX (DAM, IDM), MAXCONF (GCM), ROSKY AIR SERVICE (GCM), EFT POWER (CME-RES-GC, GCM), LDA FURNIZARE (DAM, IDM), FUTURE PV (DAM, IDM) and KEK HAL (DAM, IDM).

At the end of January, 256 participants were registered in the spot market, 176 were enrolled in the Intraday Market, 125 companies were listed in the Trading registry of Centralized Market for Electricity Bilateral Contracts Extended Auction – flex mechanism, 100 companies were listed in the Trading registry of Centralized Market for Electricity Bilateral Contracts Continuous Negotiation mechanism, 67 companies were listed as registered participants in the Centralized Market with double continuous negotiation for Electricity Bilateral Contracts (CM-OTC), 10 participants were registered in Centralized Market for Universal Service, 13 participants were listed in the Electricity Market for Large Consumers (LCM) and 187 participants were registered in the Centralized market for electricity from renewable energy sources supported by Green Certificates.

At January 31, 77 participants were enrolled in the Centralized Electricity Acquisition Mechanism.

Green Certificates Market had 828 registered participants at January 31.

At the end of January, 15 companies were listed as registered participants in the Centralized Market for Natural Gas - PCGN-LN mechanism, 14 companies were listed as registered participants in the Centralized Market for Natural Gas - PCGN-LP mechanism, while 11 participants were registered in Centralized Market for Natural Gas - PCGN-OTC mechanism. 13 participants were registered in the Day Ahead Market for Natural Gas (DAM-NG) and 11 participants were enrolled in the Intraday Market for Natural Gas. 1 participant was registered in the Market for Flexible Medium and Long Term Products for Natural Gas (PPF-TL) at January 31.

Today, the trading portfolio offered by OPCOM ranges from electricity products to gas products, as well as green certificates. More than 800 companies are using the products available for trading on short-term electricity, gas, and green certificates markets as well as on term markets for electricity, gas, and green certificates bilateral contracts. In 2024, OPCOM was appointed as CfD counterparty under the Contracts for Difference support scheme for low carbon technologies.

OPCOM applies the Quality Management System complying with ISO 9001:2015, respectively the Information Security Management System complying with ISO/IEC 27001:2022, both systems being certified by LRQA.
