Trading Record: almost two millions dollars for a single day

Fitting the same trend noticed in the last period of time, the transactions value for the Day-Ahead Market has reached 1,413,700.85 euros (1,948,586.12 dollars) on July, 16th. Accordingly, the traded volume was of 19,733.809 MWh, and the average hourly traded volume was of 822.242 MWh/h.

These three values were – until July, 16th – the trading records for the entire period of time since OPCOM administers the Day-Ahead Market Trading Platform.

For July, 17th 2007, the traded volume on previous day became outdated, and new record values were established, which are valid for the whole period since DAM was launched:

• Total volume traded on DAM: 20,179.335 MWh;
• Average hourly traded volume on DAM: 840.806 MWh/h.
