Absolute records on Day Ahead Market:
Hourly Trades exceeding 2,000 MWh/h, Daily Trades exceeding 40,000 MWh/h
In the context of a visible increasing trend for trading on DAM, which was developed since early 2012 by the sequence of the absolute records for the traded volumes, new maximum values have been set at the hourly and daily level for March 12:
• The hourly traded volume, 2,076.943 MWh/h (in the 14th hourly interval, the traded volumes exceeding 2,000 MWh/h for other four hourly intervals also);
• The daily traded volume, 40,256.104 MWh;
• The average daily traded volume, 1,677.338 MWh/h;
• The market share of about 25%, the highest value of this year and the second highest value recorded since launching (July 2005).
For the delivery day March 14, the maximum rate of interest expressed by 83 active parties, representing 66% from the total companies registered on DAM, strengthens the new trading records established for March 2012.
