Statements related to Proceedings opening by the European Commission

The topic is known and was and continues to be subject for our actions deployed together with the involved national authorities as well as with the Association of electricity suppliers active in the administered electricity markets.
Within this cooperation framework, several possible solutions were identified, the assessments leading towards the identification of a solution having viability potential and to maintain the efficacy of the trading mechanisms for the Day-Ahead Market and the Intraday Market.
During this period, actions are deployed aiming the creation of the conditions needed for the implementation, as soon possible, of the solution aimed to respond towards the expectations of all market participants, eliminating interpretations of discrimination.
We are assuring all participants in the administered markets as well as all interested parties that the trading process is not affected by this procedure, our effort being focused towards increasing the efficacy and the efficiency of all trading mechanisms in the centralized markets.
