Electrica Moldova, which is partly owned by Eon, plans to build three wind parks, with a total capacity of 112 MW in Vaslui County in eastern Romania, local media has reported. The expected cost of the development is EUR 170 million. Eon is reportedly planning further renewables projects in Romania, which could see its wind farm generation capacity grow to 200 MW, at a cost of EUR 330 million. These other developments would be run under Eon’s own renewables arm, Regenerabile Romania, however. (THE ICIS HEREN REPORTS - EDEM 12 188 / 26 September 2008) |
