| Mávir, the Hungarian grid operator, is discussing with Serbian partners the possibility of setting up daily and monthly cross-border auctions from January, a spokeswoman said on Tuesday (9th November). She refused to confirm speculation that around 700MW of capacity would be made available from next year. She did say the two countries are discussing a common functioning model, which will be made public as soon as it is approved by the regulator. The auctions would be carried out in line with the European Union push for market integration.
