    OPCOM participation at the XVIII ENERGY FOCUS Conference with the theme "The influence of investments in the increasing of Romania's energy independence" which was held at the Athenee Palace Hilton Hotel from Bucharest, on November 15, 2012.

    The event was attended by Secretary of State from the Ministry of Economy - Traicu Rodin, president of ANRE - Niculae Havrileţ, directors of public and private companies, analysts, specialists, representatives of mass-media.

    OPCOM participation as co-organizer in the “9th World Energy System Conference - WESC 2012” which was held by “Stefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, June 28-30 2012 Suceava, Romania, entitled “Towards a sustainable and integrated energy system”.
    The aim of the 2012 International World Energy System Conference was to support an integrated energy system through competitive, reliable, sustainable and secure energy solutions.

    Of the 200 articles, the International Scientific Committee of the Conference selected and published in “Buletinul AGIR” a total of 130 articles, OPCOM article being one of them.

    OPCOM participation at the event "Eastern European Wind Energy Summit ", an event which took place on 14th&15th of June 2012, in Bucharest, organized by Noppen. The Summit was attended by over 80 key market players.
    Chairmen of the event were Alexandru Valeriu Binig, Director of Deloitte and Robert Ghelasi, Director of Energy, Capital Partners.
    OPCOM’s representative gave a short but effective speech about the Romanian green certificates. Ending the day Alexandru Valeriu Binig inspired optimism in the Romania market, that despite the many doubts, people must believe in the many opportunities the market offers.
    During the conference, OPCOM presented the paper „The role of Romanian Green Certificates Market in promoting E-RES”.

    OPCOM participation at the launching event "Solar PV in Romania – the new opportunity in renewables", an event which took place on May 22, 2012, in Bucharest, Intercontinental Hotel, Fortuna Hall, organized by RPIA.
    Around 80 people – Romanian authorities from the energy sector, diplomats from several countries with economic offices in Bucharest, investors and suppliers attended the “Solar PV in Romania – the new opportunity in renewables” event.
    The launching event of RPIA proved to be a great opportunity for developers, financial institutions, producers and PV farms management companies and Romanian authorities to openly discuss about the RES-E market.
    During the conference, OPCOM presented the paper „Current situation of Green certificates for solar power plants, on the Green Certificates Market”.

    OPCOM participation, on APSNE SUNE invitation, at "SOLAR DAYS" event, which took place on May 10, 2012 in Bucharest, at the Installation Faculty of Bucharest from the Construction Technical University of Bucharest.

    The conference was organized by APSNE SUNE, Bilateral Chamber of Commerce Romania – Austria and
    Installation Faculty of Bucharest from the Construction Technical University of Bucharest, under the aegis of MDRT and MMP, and it was held during the „European SOLAR WEEK” (7-13 May 2012).
    The conference provided a platform for collaboration and economic development in an innovative way: business opportunity in the solar field.

    During the conference, OPCOM presented the paper „Current situation of Green certificates for solar power plants, on the Green Certificates Market”.

    OPCOM participation at the Conference "Wind Power Romania ", an event which took place on January 17-18, 2012, in Bucharest, Marriott Hotel, organized by „GreenPower Conferences”.

    Wind Power Romania is the largest event dedicated to the growth of the Romanian wind industry.
    Wind Power Romania features the very companies and organisations building, operating, financing and advising Romanian wind farms, organisations such as CEZ, Iberdrola, Enel, Continental Wind Partners, Verbund, Prowind, GE, Siemens, REpower, Wolf Theiss, CMS Cameron McKenna and more as well as key officials from OPCOM, ANRE, the Ministry of Economy and the Romanian Competition Council.

    OPCOM representative participated as a speaker.
