OPCOM participation at the consultative roundtable heaving the theme Participation OPCOM consultative roundtable on "ROMANIA 2035: Security and Energy Policies in the regional context" organized by the Daily Newspaper Adevarul, together with the Department of Energy, which was held at the headquarter of the Department of Energy, on June 16, 2014.

The event was registered in the context of launching the second phase of the public consultation process of the new Energy Strategy of Romania 2014-2035. OPCOM was represented at the discussions at the director general.

OPCOM participation as co-organizer of the main session KA1, having the theme ”ENERGY MARKETS IN 2014: DEVELOPMENTS AND ADVANCES TOWARDS EUROPEAN INTEGRATION IN TERMS OF TRANSPARENCY AND INTEGRITY”. The session was chaired by the General Director of "OPCOM" SA, included/covered speeches and presentations held by representatives of the Energy Community of South East Europe, Estonian National Committee of the World Energy Council, the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization, ANRE, SOCAR Romania, Sibex and OPCOM, and took place at the Palace of the Parliament, on June 23, 2014.
The event took place within the 12th edition of the 12th WEC CENTRAL & EASTERN EUROPE REGIONAL ENERGY FORUM - FOREN 2014 with the main theme "Tomorrow's Energy: From Vision to Reality” ", organized by the WEC Romanian National Committee, under the auspices of the Government of Romania, under the leadership of the World Energy Council (WEC) and with the support of WEC Member Committees in Central and Eastern Europe.

OPCOM participation to the Workshop “4M Market Coupling and foreseen changes on Romanian Day-Ahead Market (DAM)” organized in OPCOM coordination together with the Regulatory Authority for Energy and the Transmission System Operator - Transelectrica SA, which took place on September 25, 2014, hours 10:00–17:00,  in Bucharest at Palace of the Parliament, C. A. Rosetti Hall.
The workshop was the first action in preparing the market participants for launching 4M MC, OPCOM being a member of the price coupling project for day ahead markets, 4M Market Coupling (4M MC).

Major changes in 2015” organized by the specialized portals BizEnergy and Bizlawyer under the auspices of the Regulatory Authority for Energy - ANRE, on December 4, 2014 at JW Marriott Grand Hotel in Bucharest.
OPCOM was invited as speaker in the plenary session and, presented the paper "Implementation of OPCOM’s projects in terms of in force regulations".
