OPCOM participation as co-organizer of the main session KA2, with the theme ”Competition and Trading Rules in EU Internal Market. Impact of Volatile Energy Prices”.
The session was chaired by "OPCOM" SA along with Mr. Nicolae Golovanov, Professor at the University “Politehnica” of Bucharest, WEC/RNC Counselor, covered speeches and presentations held by representatives of ANRE, Societatea Energetica Electrica SA, University “Politehnica” of Bucharest and OPCOM and took place in Romania Hall at Vox Maris Grand Resort from Costinesti, on June 16, 2016.
The large number of specialists that had interventions within the discussion session emphasized the importance of the analyzed issues and highlighted the importance of energy markets in the proper functioning of a power system.
It was appreciated the role of OPCOM for ensuring the proper functioning of energy markets in Romania and in the region, concerns for the development of energy market mechanisms, the efforts to ensure premises for achieving the European single market.
