Registration for Centralized market for electricity from renewable energy sources supported by green certificates
On the Centralized market for electricity from renewable energy sources supported by green certificates (CME-RES-GC) the following categories are allowed to register:
- As Sellers: License Holders for energy production from renewable energy sources who benefits from or have benefited from the green certificates promotion system, including private persons or legal entities, according to the law, that can carry out activities in the energy sector without holding a license granted by ANRE.
- As Buyers:
- Energy suppliers, including legal entities energy suppliers that resides in an EU member state whose rights to participate on power exchange markets in Romania were confirmed by ANRE.
- Energy producers that use the electricity produced for supplying customers that are directly connected to the power station and /or for their own final consumption, other than their own technological consumption, as buyers;
All applicants will file to OPCOM a letter of intention to register on Centralized market for electricity from renewable energy sources supported by green certificates (CME-RES-GC) accompanied by following documents:
- The participation Agreement on the Centralized market for electricity from renewable energy sources supported by green certificates (CME-RES-GC), two originals signed and stamped by legal representative;
- In case the applicant is already registered to another electricity centralized market, will file the documents, if necessary, specific to the Centralized market for electricity from renewable energy sources supported by green certificates, accompanied by affidavit according to all documents filed in the previous registration process/processes are fully applicable and requires no update;
- In case the applicant is not already registered to another centralized electricity market, will file the documents specific to Centralized market for electricity from renewable energy sources supported by green certificates (CME-RES-GC).
Steps to follow by applicants during registration process as Participant to Centralized market for electricity from renewable energy sources supported by green certificates:
1. Submission of a letter of intent to OPCOM, accompanied by documents specific to Centralized market for electricity from renewable energy sources supported by green certificates
2. Payment of the invoice corresponding the payment obligation for the CME-RES-GC regulated tariff – component of registration (if appropriate).
