We announce the extension until June 20th, 2022 of the transitional period for maintaining the quality of LCM participant based on the Market participation Agreement signed for the LCM mechanism, form applicable until April 30th, 2022. Therefore, in order to maintain the quality of participant at LCM, the Market participation Agreement for LCM in the form applicable since May 1st, 2022, can be submitted until June 20th, 2022.
Following the implementation of the provisions of ANRE Order no. 65 of March 31st 2022 for the approval of the Regulation on the organized framework for contracting electricity by large final consumers, published in the Official Journal no. 320 of April 1, 2022, the participants registered at the Electricity Market for large consumers until 30.04.2022 still hold the quality of participant on this market, being fully applicable the provisions of the Participation Agreement on the Electricity market for large consumers for a transitional period of one month, respectively until 31.05.2022.
LCM participants who do not accept the provisions of the Participation Agreement on the Electricity market for large consumers, in the form applicable from 01.05.2022, may decide to withdraw from the LCM market in compliance with the provisions of specific operational procedures, by sending a request to OPCOM S.A.
In order to maintain the quality of LCM participant, the participants registered on 30.04.2022 will have to submit until 31.05.2022 the Participation Agreement on the Electricity market for large consumers, the applicable form starting with 01.05.2022.
